Welcome to the Nostradamus prediction game! Follow these simple steps to dive into the action and test your foresight.
Pick your favourite prediction market
Start by selecting the prediction market you want to explore. For now, Nostradamus offers three key token pairs to predict: BTC, ETH, and SOL. We plan to expand with exciting meme coins in the future!
Each market operates independently, so feel free to explore different tokens and see which one resonates with your style.
Prices are retrieved from Pyth, a trusted oracle, ensuring real-time accuracy and transparency.
Making a prediction for the next round
Once you’ve picked a market, it’s time to place your prediction for the next round.
Decide if you think the token’s price will go above or fall below the locked price.
Analyze market trends, consider recent movements, or simply trust your instincts—there’s no wrong way to play!
Enter the amount of SOL you’d like to wager and confirm your choice.
Checking the timer
Every prediction round lasts 5 minutes. You’ll notice a timer showing how much time is left in the current round.
Before the timer hits the 10-second mark, you can place your prediction for the next round.
Any predictions placed after the cutoff will automatically roll over into the upcoming round.
Predicting the next round
If the current round is active, you can prepare for the next one by:
Reviewing the locked price, which updates every round.
Deciding your prediction: will the price move Up or Down?
Locking in your bet before the timer hits the cutoff.
While your entered round is live
Once the round begins, the excitement kicks in!
Keep an eye on the price movement in real-time.
The live chart will display the locked price and the token’s fluctuations.
Cheer on your prediction and get ready for the result!
Once your entered round finishes
When the timer hits zero, the round concludes, and the final price is recorded.
If your prediction was correct, congratulations—you’ve beaten the odds!
The prize pool will be distributed among the winners proportionally based on their wager amount.
Seeing the results
Head to the Results Tab to view the outcome of the round:
Whether you predicted Above or Below, you’ll see the locked price, the final price, and the payout multiplier.
If you didn’t win this time, no worries—there’s always another round just minutes away!
Collecting any winnings
If you’re a winner, your payout will be added directly to your Nostradamus Wallet.
The amount you win depends on the prize pool and the number of participants who made the same prediction.
You can use your winnings to reinvest in future predictions or withdraw them to your personal Solana wallet.
